Remember

About

In the 90s, people knew their important numbers by heart. Some could remember up to ten, which is where the name Remember 10 comes from.

Today all our numbers live on one device. Lose it, run out of battery, or leave it at home, and suddenly you don’t have a single number you need. Even if someone lends you their phone, it doesn’t help if you can’t remember a number.

Remember 10 puts your ten back within reach: from anywhere, log in quickly and find what you need.

What is Remember 10?

A web page with up to ten things you need when your phone is gone: emergency contacts, a door code, your Apple ID, the number to block your cards. You open it from any browser, on any phone.

Is it a password manager?

No. Password managers hold hundreds of logins and unlock with your phone. Remember 10 holds only the ten things you need without your phone, and you log in with just your memory. Keep your password manager for everything else.

How do I log in without my phone?

With your email or username, then a password, a PIN or your own memory questions. Logging in never waits for a code by SMS, email or an app. If you forget your login, you can reset it with a link sent to your email.

Is it safe to use on someone else’s phone?

Yes. Nothing is saved on the phone, the browser isn’t offered your login, you’re logged out after 3 minutes without activity and when you close the tab, and you get an email every time your page is opened.

Where is my data stored?

In Switzerland (database in Zurich) and the EU (website in Frankfurt). Entries are encrypted, logins are stored only as a one-way hash, and there are no ads or tracking.

Who made it and why?

Remember 10 was created by Renato Zülli, a designer and avid cyclist based in Lausanne, Switzerland. He often goes on long bike trips and wanted the reassurance of having his most important phone numbers backed up in the cloud.

It started as a simple public Google Doc with a few numbers, accessible through a short web address. Then he realised he probably wasn’t the only one who couldn’t remember a single phone number. So he turned his personal solution into an easy-to-use website, available to everyone.
